I grew up running middle school and high school cross country and track. Even though I considered myself a sprinter, in college I decided to run a half marathon. When completing the half in a little over 2 hours, I set a goal to eventually finish a 100 mile race. After taking a few years off from running, I am currently trying to rebuild up stamina to hopefully one day reach that goal.
To build strentgh and muscular endurance, I prefer the functional fitness / HIIT style of training. I enjoy Crossfit for the community aspecs of training, as well as, the constantly varied workouts.
